The basic structure of the support frame for gypsum or fiber cement sheet consists of galvanized steel profiles rolled in cold and anchored to each other, thanks to phosphated or galvanized screws. According to the type of sheet (plaster or fiber cement) and the application to be built: partitions, ceilings or facades, there are different solutions of profiles, in terms of dimensions as thicknesses.
Generally for plaster partitions are constructed with particle profiles and rails of 2 ½ "of core, calibers 26. For fibrocement walls, the use of 3 ½" thick ceilings and rails 24 or 22 is suggested. In all cases It is assumed that the partitions are not greater than 3.05mts in height, since it would imply the use of profiles of greater strength, according to the specifications of the manufacturer. For ceilings, 1 5/8 "studs and rails and Omega lime profiles are suggested. 26

Profile of galvanized steel sheet of various calibers (generally 24 and 26) which vary depending on the application. The rails are arranged vertically in the set, perpendicularly to the profiles. They present perforations in the "soul" of the profile, for the passage of the pipes.
